In 2007, she joined INSERM in a tenured position to investigate cross-linked polysaccharide hydrogels as a platform for regenerative medicine. As a group leader within the "Skeletal Physiopathology and Joint Regenerative Medicine" team, her recent work focuses on innovative hydrogels as carriers of cells or bioactive molecules for treating IVD disease and osteoarthritis, as well as biofabrication tools for developing in vitro models.

She has authored 84+ ISI-indexed publications (h-index 45, ~5,700 citations) and holds 11 patents. She has been elected a member of the TERMIS-EU Council and the French Academy of Pharmacy, is an International Fellow of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (FTERM), and serves as an Associate Editor for Biomaterials (Elsevier).
